Easy Headwrap Styles for the Winter Months

Updated: Nov 24, 2019

We all know protecting black hair brings peace of mind, especially during the long winter months that are incoming. The natural hair journey is one that is fraught with challenges and some days you want to be able to tuck things in and get down to business so here we have three no nonsense headwrap styles that will last all day.

The Bow

  1. Place the headwrap at the back of your head, making sure the fabric is lowered to the nape of your neck. Then, pull ends towards the front.

  2. Tie the wrap into a knot at the center.

  3. Fold the fabric until it creates an oversized bow.

  4. Hide the ends of the wrap by tucking them into the bow flaps.

The Laid Twist

  1. Arrange hair into desired position.

  2. Tie the wrap around the head and twist each strand to it's end.

  3. Cross twisted ends over one another.

  4. Tuck the ends of the fabric underneath towards the nape of your neck.

  5. Adjust. Not too tight, just right.

Twisted Pile

  1. Wrap around head

  2. Twist ends

  3. Wrap in circle formation at the centre of the head

  4. Tuck in ends
